Based on OpenSea, the on-chain device is an easy code piece that creators can add to their NFT contracts, in addition to their current upgradeable contracts. The code restricts NFT gross sales to marketplaces that impose creator charges.
Beginning on Tuesday, November 8, OpenSea will implement creator charges just for new collections that use the on-chain enforcement device. Within the coming months, the platform will even introduce extra instruments serving an identical function and solicit group suggestions on the developments.
As for collections already current on the platform, OpenSea said it gained’t make any modifications till December 8.
